I want to record a Wood Bodied Resonator Guitar- Biscuit Bridge.
Has anyone got experience or an opinion on best way to do this for good results ?
A Large Condenser ? A spaced pair of small pencil Condensers ? A SM57 ? or something else ?
And what about Mic placement ?
Any help on this matter, greatly appreciated....thanks.

Have a read of that.
I like a combination of an SDC and a ribbon, usually a Josephson C42 and a Coles 4038 or Roger 121.
Placement matters more than mic type and it depends on the room so just experiment.
