  • I bought a 7 loop bright onion switcher off here second hand. Honestly the best thing I’ve ever bought for my rig.  Tone is crystal clear now. Build is great and Switches are quiet. Not actually sure if there’s a buffer in it but I’m using a tu3 front end anyway which is a more than serviceable buffer.  I’ve switched my amp vol down as well a few notches now as the signal has been boosted by the rerouting.

Tempted to go for a 12 loop in the future for rest of my pedals but the others are either always on or in my amp fx loop so it’s not a biggie for now.

I cant stress enough how much this thing has improved my tone

I use the Morningstar ML5. Midi controlled, 5 loops. Brilliant thing; wish I’d done it sooner.
Sorry for digging this thread again - @GavRichList ; do you know if the ML5 can use the sends for controlling an amp or a strymon favorite switch for example? thanks!

  • ML5 doesn’t send any data - only receives it. So I guess no.
