That left handed Merlin has the same Headstock logo as mine, don't think Hugh used that design for a long time. Must have been during 1980 as mine has that date on the back of the control plate.
Manson offered two Custom / Production guitars when they started out: Merlin and the Kestrel, with the latter being slightly lower spec. This one was refurbished by the Guitar Works and I remember seeing it on their web site a while back, looks like the owner has decided to move it on. Lovely guitar none the less, with paperwork etc...

I'm not sure it is the one I saw on their site, that one had a metal plate under the control knobs a different bridge.
