WTB Gibson Les Paul Custom Alpine White
What's Hot
So my neighbour let me babysit his tobacco sunburst '82 Les Paul Custom while he was on holiday and I fell in love a little bit. With the guitar not the neighbour. Anyway, I thought about how best to spend money that I don't really have, and I decided what I really wanted, what I had to have, was a Les Paul Custom in Alpine White. Ideally dated some time from the late 80s to the early 90s, in excellent condition, as original as possible. Sadly, I missed one the other week that looked perfect, so I'm throwing it out to you good folks on here. Anyone know of one for sale, or have one they might want to part with? Ideally in London or the South East of England so I can see it in the flesh.

Yeah, I saw that - it's the same one that somebody has on eBay for £2,400 but Richard Henry's asking for nearer £3k. I'm assuming they've bought it and simply stuck £500 on top for retail. It's got a prominent little paint flaw on the body too. Thanks for the spot though!

Then ask the northerner for up to date photos and see how far he’s prepared to deliver it maybe.
The serial will reveal its true age it could have been a typo on either advert.
Good luck whatever one you go for ( I suspect it won’t be this one).
I can also say that having played the 2012 model on here, it is a very good example. Whilst I understand precise specs are important to some I have also owned an 87’ Custom and thought that 2012 model was right up there with it. The weight relief was also very favourable to me.
