Deal-breaker for me, that.
The hack of the scratchplate around the bridge and the irregular shape of the blanking plate just confirm all you need to know.
Thats quality right there.
The description is certainly Phillipsesque, with the "light fingering" and "flow of play". The only way to be sure is to examine the dental records (i.e. the nut).
But that doesn't look like a 7-string headstock, I think?
on one hand, that leather flap affair (a 'mojo flap' so the mojo can come & go in the evening without disturbing the owner?) is a bit disturbing. there could be an evil spider under there or something supernatural. it provokes a fear of the unknown.
but on the other hand, at least the owner had a go. you know... points for trying??
