The only thing that matters is how well it's put it up.
Install them properly, preferably on a masonry wall, and you won't have any trouble with them.

They're being advertised loads in all my local wholesalers and builder's merchants and get good reviews. Bit expensive for general use but for a few guitar hangers should be good.
Of course, a stud would be much better.
