An expert blend of technicality and melody, it's just so satisfying to listen to. I love the little slurs they've put in a few places.

Ty Tabor is one of my favourite guitarists. Solo starts at 2:46
Dave Gilmours finest solo in Comfortably Numb.
Nuno Bettencourt sets his stall out with Get The Funk Out and Play With Me by Extreme.

many years ago I was fortunate to be in a band that was recording at Martins Presshouse studio with Martin mentoring us.
i learnt so much about using different tones to paint a sonic picture in a studio.
heres a pic of Martin teaching a very young me a few jazzy licks before recording them.

I have to agree with Viz's good taste in choosing Gary Moore, the best Northern Irish guitarist ever.
For me, the best solo could be Jay Graydon's outro solo on Steve Kipner's tune The Ending.
Best solo though? God knows. Probably something by Mr Fripp.
