I was in Rich Tone in Sheffield last Friday and noticed they have a Hiwatt DR-103. I thought about spreading fear by asking to try it.

I have the Dual Rec multi-watt at the moment, which covers clean, hard rock and metal tones, but I have to use a drive pedal on the clean channel to get my low gain tones.
It would be awesome if I could use the extra channel on the Roadster to get that, so I can get rid of my drive pedals altogether.
5E4 or 5E4-A Tweed Super (this is the version with 6V6's)
5F4 Tweed Super
V Front Super or Dual Professional, I'm not picky!
Brown 6G4-A Super (Used to own one of these would love another)
Low Power 5E8-A Tweed Twin
My band - Crimson on Silver For sale - Blackstar HT-5S
Gear - Guitars, amps, effects and shizz. Edited for Phil_aka_Pip, who is allergic to big long lists.
Are the blond protos a different circuit, or the same 6G16?
I wonder how different the circuit is to my current Bandmaster?
I must get round to blueprinting it so I know what the currnet circuit is, but here's how tt got there...
It started as a 70s S/F Bandmaster Reverb head like this:
It was ultra-linear with the horrible boost circuit on the master volume.
Some time ago, when I was still down south, I had a tech remove the ultra-linear bits, and the master volume (one Jesse Hoff - you may have heard of him ). I then had a 1x15 combo cab built and fitted a Weber 15" speaker. Finally, I had some black-facing done, and the Normal channel has been converted to a "Tweed" channel (with just gain, tone, and volume).
It now sounds really good, but I originally wanted it to sound like a Vibroverb (when I was in my SRV phase) so I'd be interested to know how close it got.

Other than that I think I’d like to try out a Lazy J 40.
66 super reverb
67 vibrolux reverb
A 70 1986 50w smallbox
& 71 1987 50w smallbox.
But would really like to try a 61 to 63 brownface deluxe and a tweed deluxe 5e3. Or good clones.
Peavey 6534+ (played a few, never owned...)
Vox ac30 top boost
That's it. That's 6x more amp than I'll ever need
