For anyone who has never tried one, the American LCTs are considerably better than the MiM and Squier lookalikes. Low weight and plenty of sustain. Unfortunately, being a Blackguard and Nocaster fiend, I am another who found the American Standard profile neck of the LCT too skinny for my tastes.
Have you ever tried the Fender Brown's Canyon / Old Growth Redwood Telecaster? Deep neck profile but 9.5" fingerboard radius. The current FSR roasted ash Tele is another cracker.
