Quite why anyone would give a toss that it had my signature on it I don't know.
Some fantastic answers!
Still thinking of mine, however it would be strat shaped with a maple neck.
I'd love sea foam green, but with a twist, I'd want a sparkle effect!
Colour to be chosen by Mrs baldy.
If Gibson rang me, I would tell them to forget my signature, just give me a Chris Cornell ES-335 in olive green with a bigsby, the current run is only 250.
1 piece rosewood neck,
Oversize 59 back profile
10” rad board,
Dunlop 6000 supah jumbo frets,
Heavily rolled finger board edges
Hipshot Griplok staggered locking tuners
Lightweight body, Sonic blue or Ocean Turqoise
that Wilkinson trem that Pete Thorn has
Master Vol, Master tone, Tele knobs, 5 way
Mojo HSS pickup config
Finish would be green metalflake with matching headstock.
I said maybe.....
Or a PRS DGT, stock. Not even bothered about the truss rod cover as my initials are DG.
this guitar is 85% what I have built already, and I like it!
The build-
Jazzmaster.
Same neck as the Mascis- jumbo frets, satin finish. Rosewood fingerboard.
Staytrem
Light relic metallic blue nitro.
Here's where it gets weird.
2 Seymour Duncan P-rails pickups.
Instead of the rollers there are three way switches for the pickups for Single/P90/HB
The rhythm selector simply bypasses the vol/tone & sends the output of the selected pickups direct to the jack.
My own existing signature model is an Esquire with Oil City alligator 90 & Eldred wiring.
