So had some funds available to try something otherwise unthinkable and I’ve never played an original Klon Centaur so I took the plunge (with not a little berating of self and stern talking to)
Now. I know that there is bound to be a certain amount of post purchase rationalisation (Although I plan to sell at some point (or did..). And don’t anticipate losing money on it) but what a pedal. I’ve lost hours so far. Difficult to explain but it just seems to hit a sweet spot at a range of gain levels.
Appeciate that some abuse may follow - and to be clear I bought it expecting to debunk and flip - but at the moment I’m buying the hype.

You've pretty much got any amp to choose from at that sort of price.
Having played a couple and compared them to my clones my perspective is that the 'magic' is in your head. But then so is all of your subjective reality so it doesn't matter either way. If it makes you happy then that's the bottom line..
Enjoy!
