This journey started months ago when Adam Evans commissioned a build from us. Last week we completed the guitar (the nicest one we’ve made!) and delivered it to the 3 Arena in Dublin on Tuesday evening.
https://i.imgur.com/gzOhXyd.jpg Adam plays for Rick Astley so I was delighted to be given the chance to get a guitar into the hands of a pro player. We met up, handed over the guitar and collected our tickets (massive thanks to Adam for that one!) for the show. He had said he might get it into a song and he actually did!

To add to the surreal chain of events of the night so far I was totally blown away when Rick gave the guitar a shout out during “never gonna give you up”.

We had been told about an after show performance being done at Trinity College (Dublin) so after about 6 Take That songs we headed off to catch it. I was actually keen to see TT, takes me back to being 10/11 hearing them on TOTP for the first time. Nostalgia and all that.
We made it just in time to see Rick’s whole band tear up a whole host of classic and modern funk/soul songs in front of about 200-300 people.... wow! The backing singers were absolutely incredible, especially when they were given centre stage. I swear they all looked like they were having a bette time at this gig than the big stage. Lots and lots of energy.
I was lucky enough to see Adam again before leaving and meet Rick. Lovely, lovely guy and had all the time in the world to chat. There are some things that you’ll never ever get to experience again and last night was just that. We took our little business from the kitchen table to major stage in 2 1/2 years. I never thought that would be possible. Don’t stop following your dream. You never know where it will take you

Congrats mate
Well done!
Incidentally, my mates fiancée is the backing singer on the left of the picture. She says that Rick is a really top bloke and they all seem to have a great time on tour.
Brilliant.
Pleased to see things are going so well for you. Love to see a good success story.
I'll get my coat ....
