Hi All
I want to invest some time learning a really great classic rock or rock blues solo (using only pentatonic scale) that contains lots of really great but simple little licks and phrases that can be stripped out of the solo and easily recalled and ‘recycled’ when improvising/jamming.
Some songs seem to ‘give’ more of these than others... Are there solos that you’ve learned that have helped you develop your stock pentatonic ‘moves’ more than others?
Am I talking crap or do you guys know what I’m looking for?
BTW, ideally the solos need to be available and broken down on youtube for me to learn them effectively. Tab is a bit laborious for me.

Any excuse to post the Lord of Tone

That riff at 1:40 and the descent a little bit after are just so useful to get under the fingers.

Also any ZZ Top, 'Eliminator' has a load of simple but deceptively cool licks to rip off (he seemed to slow down his lead playing around this time)
Been uploading old tracks I recorded ages ago and hopefully some new noodles here.
