Hi all
Wondered if anybody had any opinions on the cheaper end of things for guitar necks, with paddle headstocks so I can drill holes in for some Gforce autotuners I have lying around, and reshape the headstock to a shape of my own design.
I think it would need to 24.75" scale to get the paddle shape right, but bolt on to fit the instrument I intend it for. But any other scale could work in theory as it's a floating bridge.
I wondered how cheap one can go and get something ok? I bought a cheap Chinese neck of ebay and it was not all that good, frets seem very uneven and sharp at the edges, and just a bit annoying to play so I suspect it would again be a false economy, but thought worth an ask.
Thanks
Matt

I did fear it wouldn't be worth doing but hoped not. Not to worry!
