How much do those Washburn Wing series tend to go for these days? I've always hankered after a white Eagle (mainly because the jealousy of my mate at school having one has never subsided....)
That Falcon is lush and exactly the same as my old one (same colour etc). Is this now part of the H7 Retirement Home for Ageing Guitar Chod Equipment?
NB. The R8 was rather lovely.
As much as I like the Wing series, the Falcon *felt* exactly as I remembered - body heavy, short, fat-necked and the compact horns meant it slips off the lap all too easily. In other words, not for me.
That said, it’s in great nick, plays well (even pre-shop setup) and comes with a nice old case.
To answer @Lewy - you can pick up untidy examples under £300, but I reckon you’d be looking at £400+ for a nice one.*
*The shop hadn’t sorted a price on this example when i was in there - it had only just come through the door.

I forgot to add...for sheer quirkiness (albeit not my bag), this Eastwood Delta 6 took some beating...

A Washburn Falcon, in exactly that finish, is one of the guitars I've "always wanted" since staring into guitar shop windows and studying magazine ads as a student in the early '80s.
Over the years I've seen a few on eBay but I've come to realise it would almost certainly be uncomfortably heavy and I probably wouldn't like the neck shape. Same reasons I've never bought a Yamaha SG or Ibanez Artist from the same era.
I still think they look great though. Especially those little brass ring inlays.
Are they all pretty heavy? Mine was pretty hefty for sure.
