6 years of 0800-1600 6 days a week & they never faltered, not even when one of the pair took an accidental dip in a bucket of water. We dried it off & the next day it worked perfectly again.

For cheap decent gaming and audio speakers, I really like Edifer R1280T speakers. Based a couple of audio setups for friends around these and they do the job. Won't overpower the room with the 4" subwoofers and you'll get change from £100.
If you want Bluetooth, the R1280DB are twenty quid more.
