Good work @RandallFlagg, keep that number climbing up.
The 20+ bet winning run ends with a couple of losing bets, but I fear not, they were due and everything is still on track, I take the long view:
Today's results:
Betting bank now reduces to £296.02
This is lay betting and the test of discipline and selection process starts now. It will recover.
The yard is nothing but a fence, the sun just hurts my eyes...
Doncaster 12:20
Doncaster 15:15
Bets will follow later when prices settle down.
Despite yesterday's losses the P&L for January is still a respectable 19.8%. Will post full January results on Brexit Day!
Doncaster 12:20 Twin Star SP Lay £25
Doncaster 15:15 Quarenta SP lay £25
Doncaster 12:20 Twin Star WIN £3.38
Doncaster 15:15 Quarenta WIN £2.60
Betting bank now stands at £302.00
13:20 Fontwell
15:00 Sedgefiled
Will confirm bets later
Go RandallFlagg! I should really get me some of this action.
But at 20-30% growth a month it beats an ISA.
15:00 Sedgefield SP lay £25 liability on Ulterior Motives
15:00 Sedgefield Ulterior Motives LOSE -£25:00
Betting bank now stands at £277.00
This is the kind of test that sorts the men from the boys.
Keep going
There's all sorts you can do to consistently win money, even with no risk to yourself, but it's a case of how long you want to sit at the computer for the chance at what is likely not a great fortune.
A simple one is looking for advertised odds boosts that are actually a boost (where the back price is higher than the lay price).
For example Paisley Park might be advertised to win at evens, whereas the lay price is maybe 1/2.
Put £10 on that, and £10 on the lay. If the bet loses your tenner goes to the bookie but you win £10 on the lay. You didn't win anything but your cash was never at risk.
If the bet wins then you lose £5 on the lay, but win £10 at the bookie. So you just had a risk free chance at £5 per £10 staked (they're likely only going to let you stake a tenner though).
For bigger profits over time don't lay, but expect a very bumpy ride.
