That's what I'm thinking. I bought a Strat that he had set up - a Highway 1 - and it was the nicest Strat setup ever. And I still sold it
Much as I'm always extremely impressed with Jonathan's work and I would highly recommend him, I would never courier a guitar if you don't need to - especially not a Gibson. It's just asking for it to get broken.
