This is the place where tracks can be proposed & debated, and volunteers can step forward to request a particular "band" role for the songs they would like to play on, remembering that songs with strong support can be played more than once, with as many band line ups as is required, to ensure that everyone who wants to play on a particular track has the opportunity to do so. It follows that less popular tracks will inevitably get dropped along the way, for example where we do not have volunteers for all key "band" roles, or are outside the range of the vocalists, etc.
Play nicely...

I've played the Thin Lizzy and Joe Jackson tracks in previous bands. Do we assume original keys and structures unless otherwise stated?
I'm happiest with fairly standard (old git) pub pop/rock and funk stuff.

I'm up for learning any tunes provided they're not super complicated and there aren't masses of them.
What would the Superstition teach-in entail? I can predict a (hopefully friendly) discussion about what the actual chords are in the chromatic movement section Or, to create another debate, perhaps we can get into a discussion about how Alright Now is actually played
Move Over has a good bass line, riff & solo (the last being beyond my current playing ability), but don't believe it to be an overly complicated arrangement for an experienced ear!
How many are people allowed to propose? I suggest a maximum of three or you end up with too many songs to filter out.
I'd like to propose/play:-
Personal Jesus - Marilyn Manson style
Nightrain - GnR
Dani California - RHCP

Superstition - Stevie Wonder
Keep Your Hands To Yourself - Georgia Satellites
Word Up - The Gun Version

This was what caused some suggested songs to fall by the wayside.
The whole event depends upon some attendees being willing to learn and play songs of which they are not necessarily fond. The reward for this selfless act is that others return the favour and play whatever minority interest song you proposed.
When this idealistic state of affairs breaks down, the old standards are invoked. Teenage Kicks, Paranoid, Rockin' In The Free World, all the titles that shops used to ask customers to refrain from playing.

Happy to play/learn anything I can handle, apart from Brown Eyed Girl, which I never want to play again in my life
Heres the googlesheet link for currently suggested songs:-

Lets please have three suggestions from the rest of the paid up attendees.

Battleship Chains by Georgia Satellites is my go to for jams because you don't have to deal with the tricky singing in KYHTY.
