In style, it reminds me of Chromazone (Mike Stern).
Here he is in 335 mode, with a dark tone and rattling off flawless straight ahead jazz vocabulary.
Here he is with John Patitucci's Guitar Band (check out the album 'Brooklyn). Interesting to contrast two great players (Steve Cardenas is another monster player) playing 335s through Deluxe Reverbs.
His recent trio project, DICE, is great. Strat through a Marshall. Think Hendrix after a jazz course.

Saw them together in 2016 at the 55 Bar in NYC. For the first half of the set, they played bop and standards, with Rogers playing his 335 through a blackface Vibrolux Reverb. For teh second half, he switched to an SG with some paperclips on the strings, cranked the amp and reverb and they launched into the funkiest, spaciest jam for 30 minutes straight. Incredible!

Scheduled for 45-60 minutes, Adam went for 2.5 hours! (No complaints here!) He even pulled out a Strat and a Marshall and went through some of his DICE trio music.
It'll be online for a few days yet. The link to make a donation is at the bottom of the screen.
