DIY two footswitch version of the Foxx Tone Machine you say?

This one is based on the Fulltone Ultimate Octave, which has a "fat / bright" switch that I'm guessing, not having played either, probably does something like the mid-boost on the 3699.
Don't talk politics and don't throw stones. Your royal highnesses.
Octave fuzzes sound brilliant with 5th chords.
Not so much with yer fancy jazz chords with numbers of six or higher on the end.

Got some Russian Ge diodes, forward voltage is about .55. I will use them in the Ge clipping stage but does anyone know if they would also be a good replacement for the 1N34As in the octave stage?
