    Wonder if it’s fate but I still have an old set of 1978 dated t top pickups, gold pole screw and gold covers, you guessed it removed from a long gone Les Paul Custom. If only I had a spare 2k, lovely guitar GLWTS

    @jdbwales, just out of interest what's the best guitar you've ever played?
    My 1999 alpine white Les Paul Custom, had it for 14 years now. Never found anything that came as close to being perfect apart from the ‘78.
