Embedding images using an IPhone?

I’ve just lost about twenty minutes off my life trying to do this. Is there a simple way?

    I put them on imgur, then view the post. Tap on the picture to make it bigger, then tap the share icon at the bottom and select Copy Link.
    Come back here, tap the document icon at the top of the post & paste the image location into the box that appears. It should appear straight away in the post, the you can either tap Post, or add line breaks/more images/etc
    Too much gain... is just about enough \m/

    I'm probably the only member of this forum mentioned by name in Whiskey in the Jar ;)

    It’s the Fretboard’s greatest letdown, how unfriendly it is to iPhone users imo. Apparently, most folk access it on desktop, I find that a bit weird in this day and age, but hey ho, what do I know?

    On imgur's app you need to twice click to get the proper url.
    Should work the same in principle on iphone.

    First image after upload:



    Then click again on the image itself and the view changes slightly as below. When you then
    use the next link to share, this URL pastes into TFBs envelope



    Then hit spacebar...

    How are you managing @Roland,  i’ve honestly only ever got this to work from desktop. What part of the idiotcheck am I missing and messing it up on? 

    Edit: sorry that sounds confrontational reading back, I just want to know where I am going wrong with this.
