One suggestion - if you're putting it on social media for the band then I'd view it as okay to cheat a bit with the audio. Double tracked guitar (and vocals if desired) would give a much thicker recorded tone without ruining the live feel
But I hate watching (amateur) bands miming to a pre recorded track or layering with loads of harmonies etc that they'd never be able to include in a normal gig.
So, for our current series it's live, raw and real. :-)
I completely understand your intention. It's just a shame that your awesome guitar playing sounds a bit thin in the mix. I'm sure that wouldn't be the case live so why put up with it on video?
