Withdrawn FS: Roland JP8000
I need to make some room so my Roland JP8000 is for sale.
I only want £250 for it but it isn’t a mint condition item.
The case has a crack in it, but it is structurally sound otherwise, also the keys have aged somewhat, they feel a bit chalky to the touch.
There is also a slight crackle when turning the master volume.
Otherwise it works fine.
Cash on collection from OX29, or I can meet half way with some notice and petrol money.
Edit: only have one photo for now, can take some of the case crack on Sunday when I am back in the UK.

I need to make room.
One more thing- I know it says 117v on the back plate- Roland make it easy to convert their power supplies over to 230v, it is literally one solder join to switch from the 117v tap to the 230v tap.
This keyboard works fine with UK power as I converted it over.
I can easily convert it back if need be.
Some more photos.

I do have a box big enough to fit it and can pack it intelligently, although I do not have the original packaging.
I can't do it including shipping for this price though but would just add whatever it costs me to courier.

If someone wants to buy it 'as is' then let me know and we can work out a price but otherwise I'll pop it back up once I've had it sorted.

Top case cover should come off with a couple of screws.
Will need good photos though.

I had a 760 and 770 waaaaaay back when, so I have had the tops off before.
It was just so long ago I can't quite recall.

The 100-125v transformer is a 103YR5 H whereas the 220-250v is a 403Y0R3 X. (That last letter is actually an Ancient Greek Chi.) All of the UK voltage components are bigger.
I am content that the only valid and safe modification to my 110v S-760 would be a complete mains PCB swap.

My lid lifting exercise has not been a complete waste of time. The "spare" OP-760-1P expansion that I had been meaning to install for years is finally where it can be of service - if I ever use my S-760 collection again.
Hijack over.
