I'm watching this on eBay and he sent an offer of £1,100 out earlier today so he must be fairly keen to get rid, it was £1,350 yesterday.
New user on eBay with zero feedback is a bit of a put off though.
The seller is in Manchester and has stated payment to be made once the buyer has tried the guitar so that gives me some level of comfort. Obviously it would have to be in an outdoor / garden to comply with current rules.
I've been after one for a while but not sure on what the right price is.
The only thing you can realistically compare it to is American Deluxe Strats, and the current nonsensical climate has driven the prices of even ancient examples of those above £1,100, though whether they are selling at such a level is another thing.

Pricing can move in Mysterious Ways though.
If this guitar is in decent nick (and he'd need to explain the hole in the back of the headstock) then I'd say £1,100 (and he might even go lower) is a fairly risk-free investment?
The seller says ‘the hole was made for a spring used to hold a metal slide on stage rather than stick it in your pocket
Does not affect the guitar in anyway shape or form ‘
