How do the pickups sound?
Have a Wow.
I haven't played it long enough to form a view about the brass block Megii. Certainly sounds fine to my ears so far.
Post edited as I just realised it can't have two sets of tuners; it actually has the originals from the CV Squier neck. The Axesrus locking tuners have just gone on the neck of one of my other partscasters, hence the confusion
Very nice, as I should have said when you first posted it.
Trading feedback: Previous (+18) and Current
Supposing you already have a VG, GR or other 13 pin enabled unit then just fit it into a guitar and you are good to go.
I have done a couple of Strat's and I am a klutz so anyone with time and patience will manage it just fine.
I drilled a hole in the body inline with the jack output for the 13 pin connector and had to chisel a wee ledge just by the edge of the bridge to accomodate the GK3 pickup best as it need to be as close to the edge of the bridge as you can go.
Then 4 firter holes drilled in the scratchplate for the 3 way switch, (for MAG only/MAG & Synth/Synth) LED and the S1 & S2 switches.
You don't strictly need the LED but I used it for blinding marauding hordes of drunk punters.
This is my current Roland Ready stable and I cannot find the CAR MiM Strat one I did pictures at the mo.

Now that UK shops and Thomann are doing them at a decent price (2nd hand GK3 Kits used to go for £60 to £70) it would be rude not to.
