Recently re-valved.
Bought nine months ago, got it home and hated it. Far too bright.........or so I first thought ,
Then I watched a couple of YouTube user videos and learnt how to set it / dial it in which involved knocking the treble right down to about 3 and setting the mids to 6. Sounds bloody fantastic.
I've never been over- impressed by the clean channel but that's like saying Ronaldo was never great at tennis!
The crunch and the hi gain are outstanding - it's sat next to a SLO 30 going through a 2x12 cab and really is neck and neck until you get above the volume most pubs will allow when the bass starts to fade. That's quite an accolade.
It will do as much Slash, 80's hair metal or classic rock as you could want and makes a half-decent go of any more modern high gain so long as you don't want crushingly loud.
