    I’ve just noticed a couple of hairline cracks in the poly finish around the neck socket - wasn’t aware of them before although they don’t look recent. It’s been in a case the whole time. 

    Neck feels absolutely stable and solid. I’ve taken the neck off to check the pocket for cracks in the actual wood and can’t see any. Here are some closeups:
