I had an AO 50s strat which wasn't selling but I had loads of trade offers which weren't floating my boat. A chap contacted my from gumtree and offered me a 94 strat with a dark rosewood board, we got chatting and agreed that plus a cheap acoustic for my AO if I drove hour and a half along the coast as he is "getting on" and didn't fancy the drive, so this morning I headed over early.
He had given me his name but guitarist officianado that I am I didn't recognise it. We got chatting and he said he had one of his guitars because it reminded him of when he played Woodstock. wait what? Turns out he is Miller Anderson and played woodstock and was once in TRex for a while and has toured his whole life.
We got chatting about the 94 strat he was trading with me, apparently used to belong to Walter Trout! Miller and Walter and Greg Koch were playing in a club in Germany for a few days and the club asked them to sign the guitar, which they did. Walter then decides he likes the guitar and buys it. Miller played it on and off on the tour and bought it from Walter,
Miller then felt like a muppet having a guitar with his signature on so cleaned them all off. So with Miller's permission here are pictures of him playing it in Stuttgart while on tour and when it had all the signatures on.

just because you do, doesn't mean you should.
Now all you need to do is play it like Walter and Miller :-)
* EDIT - he most certainly has a pedigree!

see, good things happen to good people what a great day
(ha ha etc so no-one thinks I'm being mean)
Great story, and even without the history it looks like a nice example of a '90s Strat.
This was late ‘80s when I was mid teens. He must be getting on in years now!
