As for "when am I ready?" You'll never be ready. It works in reverse, you become ready by doing it. - pmbomb
Drill batteries are also suitable, being 9,6 and you can buy adapters to flying leads off Ebay to fit a lot of them
That specific model is out of stock at the moment but i'm sure looking around on Amazon or ebay will find you the same thing. Was about £10, i also seem to have ordered a polarity reversing cable at the same time but it's been a while since i used it so I can't remember if that was needed or not, guess it depends what polarity your pedals need compared to whta's on the other bit

Of course, I have to use a Joyo ZGP to clean the power before it hits pedals, but I can also power an HX Stomp or HX Effects (or anything else that doesn't care about a dirty power supply) in parallel with it that.
Anybody who shows up to The Guitar Show this weekend will be able to see it, in fact

Does this option not address pedal noise in anyway?
To answer the question...you absolutely need to address the USB power supply noise, because it's unusable otherwise. I used a couple of Joyo ZGP isolators and a GigRig Distributor (effectively a daisy chain in itself). That was fine, until I had more than two pedals that didn't play nicely together. I did buy a couple more ZGPs, but it started getting quite messy under the board.
However, I've just discovered that I can power the Harley Benton ISO-1 Pro from the ZY12PDN trigger board, in 12V mode (if anybody gets one, it's the green mode). That gives 8 x 9V 500mA isolated outputs (albeit with a maximum of about 2600mA between them), and works beautifully powering:
Tuner
Mooer Ninety Orange
Mosky Silver Horse
Ibanez Chorus
ToneX ONE
Keeley Eccos
I just chucked the board together, and it gives zero noise either with a power bank or a USB wall wart. Now, admittedly it's not the cheapest of possible power supply solutions (£40 for the ISO-1 Pro, £10 for the ZY12PDN and £25 for the USB power bank), but it's got more possible backup power options than anything. Can carry a spare power bank, and almost any phone charger will run it too.
Gotta say, this is now basically my perfect board, I just need to do a proper job on the cables (making all the power cables to length, then using the spare Boss solderless kit for the signal cables) and I'll put it up on one of the pedalboard threads.
Anker units are truly outstanding.

...because I was lucky enough to spot it when it had 40% off. This thing's nuts, it really does charge at 90W - full charge from nothing in around 40 minutes. It can also put out 150W, which is mind-boggling.
