SOLD: Sigma 000R28VS (12 fret slothead) - £250
What's Hot
Hello all, the downsizing continues and I'm now round to culling acoustics
Both of these guitars were bought second hand from Coda in the past year. They're lovely little players but surplus to current requirements and/or not quite right for me.
Looking for straight sales but happy to listen to trade offers, there's no harm in asking.
Collection from Esher, Surrey, or meet up / I'll deliver within reason.

Don't be put off by the not-particularly-catchy name. This is a great 12 fret slothead that punches well above its weight for the price. I believe this model is 10 years old and no longer in production. Specs copied from an old Reverb post:
- Body Size: 000-12Fret
- Top: Solid Sitka Spruce
- Back & Sides: Indian Rosewood
- Neck: Mahogany
- Nut: Bone
- Saddle: Bone / Compensated
- Fingerboard: Indian Rosewood
- Scale Length: 25.4" (645mm)
- Neck width at nut: 1-3/4" (44.5mm)
- Tuning Machines: Nickel, Grover Open-Geared
This is really a fingerpicker's guitar, nice wide spacing at the soundhole (feels like 2" 5/16ths but I may be wrong). Sounds fantastic, very playable action, comfy neck and a volute to boot, nice. Condition-wise it is very good for its age, doubtless there will be the odd ding if you examine it closely but with a poly finish it's fared extremely well so far. The most noticeable thing for me is that someone (not me!) seems to have pulled out the b string bridge pin with grips. Please see photos and feel free to ask any questions.
Fresh set of Elixir PB nanowebs 12-53 on today 19 Feb, fretboard cleaned (thanks Coda...
) and lightly oiled.
Doesn't come with a case I’m afraid.
