A couple of mornings ago when I was driving home from work playing some AC-DC and attempting to sing along when I saw a guy out walking two Dalmations just as the chorus of "Rock 'n' Roll Damnation" came on. I sang what I saw - "It's a Rock 'n' Roll Dalmation" - and then chuckled to myself at the coincidence. The problem is that this has been stuck in my head since then and I've been walking around at work and sitting in the house singing that lyric.
There's a delivery driver at my work that is particularly prone to getting tunes stuck in his head. I used to phone him and play a short piece of a catchy and annoying song like "Chirpy, chirpy, cheep, cheep" or the banjo/guitar duet from Deliverance, knowing it would be stuck in his head all day and drive him nuts. I never had this "problem" until a few years ago when I started getting the chorus or part of a melody from songs stuck in my head and they would keep popping back with me even singing them.
Does anybody else have this "
problem"?

Luckily, playing it on youtube seemed to act as some kind of antidote.

I've got a song that will get on your nerves......
I regularly get a snippet of a song stuck in my head on repeat for days or weeks at a time. Lately it’s been ‘Psycho Killer’, so maybe my brain’s trying to tell me something…?
I have not heard it for years, how does this happen? It has been playing for 2 hours now.
Offset "(Emp) - a little heavy on the hyperbole."
Stress, I am reliably informed, is the cause.

I don't know I've been had until I hear them both "BAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAA"-ing from the other room.
It usually takes about 30 seconds max.
My wife's ringtone is from one such occasion where I began whistling the theme tune to Wallace and Gromit's The Wrong Trousers after they played it on the telly.
There is no 'H' in Aych, you know that don't you? ~ Wife
Turns out there is an H in Haych! ~ Sporky
Bit of trading feedback here.

I managed to rid myself of 'I'll See You In My Dreams' by Bruce Springsteen a couple of months ago, but worryingly it popped up on a playlist recently and it's threatening to return...
my brain is weird.
