It's to do with the ones second from the left and fourth from the right; they start out very, very tall and end up about half the height. Somewhere there's an extra person being made from the bits of those two that go missing.
EDIT: same with the one on the far right, actually. The bloke's feet remain behind and part of one of his players goes into them.
