OK so you may have some valid points there,:-D But i have some wonderful rose tinted glasses from gigging a fly for 8 years, ignore the constant chest stabbing from the upper horn, and the weak dimarzio pickups and you do have an extremely durable/ light guitar, with a fantastic bridge.
The pickups were unacceptable on a 2.5k guitar tho I totally agree.

The Gibson M-III was bloody cool.
I'd nitpick about details (Floyd, scratchplate, maybe the arrowhead inlays) but I really liked the original design, especially in the natural wood finish.
