Deliverance . A film that I've never seen and going by it's most infamous scene am unlikely to.
Nah, you should watch it, it's a great film. You don't actually see anything man-rapey.

It can make you feel uncomfortable in your seat.

  • They Shoot Horses Don't They?

Dance-marathon movie? Sounds a bit ropey, think I'll be giving it a miss.

Song was Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye by Steam.

It's pretty good actually, definitely not Strictly... no fake tan or sequins in sight.  And the ending is very bleak.

Mine was Cinderella and the song was something called 'Music,Music,Music'
They were very bleak times during the Cold War and we were all living under the shadow of the Bomb.
There's not much to smile about when Armageddon is just a push of the red button away.

The Fugitive - not my favourite film of all time, but not bad either. I can deal with that.

    Nashville....not familiar with that.
It's a very good early Robert Altman movie. It's one of his multi-character films where people come in and out of camera (and sound) in a seemingly casual way. It's kind of plotless but it does lead to a climatic ending. Geraldine Chaplin is in it as a very British BBC reporter.

Mine is Pal Joey starring Frank Sinatra.

  • Something of an anomaly in my case - The Toy, starring Richard Pryor. However, the release date according to other sources puts it a day later. Hmm...

The No 1 song for me was, rather bizarrely, Amazing Grace performed by The Pipes and Drums of the Royal Scots Dragoon guards. Lots of bagpipes I think. The album was Deep Purple's Machine Head which makes me feel better.
