My Rambler will handle anything in front of it, not so the Lazy J.
The KOT sounds great with the J20 - any others that work ?

Amazingly, an SS3 - honest.
I was so unimpressed with the KOT with it- the Tim miles better too.
But, the SS3 works a charm with it.

I really like:
Buffalo TD-X
Skreddy Hybrid Fuzz Driver
Cruiser Deuce (just wish it had a little more gain)
OC44 Treble Booster
Quite like:
Vick Tree of Life
Barber Direct Drive
Timmy
Skreddy Screwdriver
KTR
Bogner Blue
Didn't like:
Gunshot
XTS Multidrive
MI Blues Pro
Boosters that work well:
Faceless Jasmine (very sweet)
Buffalo Power Boost
Lazy J 'Winwood' Boost
If I had to pick an OD to pair with the J20 from that list it would be the Buffalo TD-X. I think I'm still searching for the one though.
@Simonk, @gassage, why do they work so well ? Tell me...
Not sure about other amps though so I'll be interested in reading comments here
Not with the J20 as they are voiced to compliment each other. When using it with my Bad Cat or TopHat I found I missed some sort of tone shaping especially in the mids, hence I sold
It.
It is STUNNING with the J20 & J40 though.

Dunno.
I find the P1 overly harsh with it, the G2 decent, the SS3 and CC1 outstanding.
Tim and Minstrel also v v good
And, SOV2.

Doesn't that make you worry you'll just sound like everyone else with a lazy j and a cruiser though?
Also, I mostly use tone controls to suit guitar choice - so surely it won't suit a bright tele and a dark humbucker at the same time? Or does it just work with everything?
Genuine question by the way, not trying to poke holes. The concept, hearing about it for the first time, seems like something I'd not like regardless of amp choice - hope that makes sense!
I must say though that every lazy j owner I have never thought they doubd the same. It's in the fingers guys lol
great post, amongst many here.
