Remember, it's easier to criticise than create!
Having been to guitar shows with my kids they have tended to gravitate toward stuff like Vintage. They look like what they expect ( and don't care what it says on the headstock) and they tend to be lighter in weight, slimmer necks, etc, than the 'real thing.'
Might be one for our @IanSavage to comment on! Doing a poor job of being an endorsee so far...
Short scale would be my call fer chur.
It's great. He can vary the sounds from the P/J pickups and the scale length is spot on.
Build quality varies i think with the cheaper models; our first, the one I opened three days before xmas, had broken knobs and a rattly pick up.
