With a couple of coiled cables it fits pretty tightly and as long as I don't do anything daft it's pretty secure
I carry it with a feeling of dread and a numbness in my arm
Updates to mine...

Are the scissors under the board used to cut through the mix?
...sorry...I'll get me coat...
They are a safety measure my singer insisted on once she heard how much I used that pitch whammy button

I’ve used the GT6 in various guises, but obviously I don’t use the included amps and distortion pedals. For a long time it was a midi controller for my rack based system. I’ve also used it '4CM' with the guitar amp preamp in the FX loop.
When I decided to go down the stomp box route, I got loads of pedals, but decided I could get what I wanted from the GT6 with decent OD/distortion pedals in the FX loop.
I use the GT6 in manual/stompbox mode. The picture is labelled with the set up I use mostly, which is in preset 33-1 switched to manual mode. There are other pedal board settings under different presets (which are indicated on the picture).
I like to have all my sounds at rhythm, lead and an intermediate level. This is achieved using the 6dB boost at the left of the GT6 and the Ctrl pedal at the bottom right which gives 3dB boost. They're post the Fx loop. The boosts can also be combined. Sometimes I engage the OD9 and boost, then ride the volume pot on the guitar to do things the 'old way' to get from crunch rhythm to lead.
Some situations require a different level of boost between rhythm and lead. If I decrement the bank to 32-x the 6dB boost reduces to 5dB. Likewise, as I go up in banks, the boost successively increments by 1dB.
There are square rubber feet stuck on some of the pedals. That's to reduce the chance of accidentally hitting control knobs and switches close to the pedals.
