Crappy iPad pic, but now wired up. I've tried pretty much used all of the main solderless options at one point or another, this time I've gone for Free The Tone jobbies - they are as easy to make as George L's, lop the end off, stick it in. Feels more robust though as it has a proper screw that tightens it against the sleeve - we'll see how they stand up over time.

The flip flop mod on the Gigrig QM is a revelation, to go from hairy tone (Sick As) to full on lead tone (LGW into Unimos) in one click (as a opposed to three) is a joy.

not even made noise with it yet. Spent this evening getting the basic midi syncing sorted. Next stage is to program some song presets, then program the midi map changes so that the Space and H9 auto change for each song in our set, and the Moog and the infinity remain clock synced to the pair of them, and our live electronics.

It's basically Skynet.

Well there's a few things there; firstly, I don't really understand them. Secondly, they're big, and space is already at a premium. Thirdly, they're far too expensive. Fourthly, I'm just used to the tap dancing, so it doesn't bother me, and we're at a point now that we can pre-program preset changes on a few of my pedals anyway. Plus there's an art in laying out a board so that you don't need one

I found that the end of each song i was clicking off all my pedals rather than listening to the applause so now i have a dual looper with one side all my dirt and the other verbs and delays. Simples.
