NGD! 20 Guitars will post images throughout the day (COMPLETE)

If any of you saw my previous post, I acquired 20 new guitars yesterday from the estate of a Collector.

Mixture of makes (majority Fender) with a huge range of dates! 

As I get through trying them today I’ll post images on this thread of each one. 

Few confusing elements to them as some have been modified so please do shout up if you have any comments or knowledge!

First up,

Fender Yngwie Malmsteen Signature 2008 

 Aboslutely pristine with all original Malmsteem extras (cables, strap and card).

The neck has been professionally scalloped.

However, my confusion kicks in here as I can’t remeber or see this colour for the Malmsteem guitars!

Some of the paperwork is present and looks to be legit, but not sure if it is a new body or a respray or me not having a clue!

Ashtray cover is custom on it but does come off.

1977 Fender Stratocaster Ash Body 

Few small signs of wear but fot the age it looks stunning.

1977 headstock has been altered to a shape that is neither accurately pre-CBS not the stunted outline of The Strat. The bridge saddles ought to be the dreaded Mazac cast type.

The USA Malmsteen Stratocaster fingerboard was scalloped at the factory. (That was kinda the point of this signature model!) The model was offered in off-white but its plastic parts would have been pure white/black/white. Factory pickups would have been two DiMarzios and one Fender Am Std. Seymour Duncan STK-10 YJM Fury pickups did not exist in 2008.

Thanks for the info! Yes I am aware of the pick up changes on the Malmsteen. I have the box for the Fury pickups. 

Nice to know regarding the off white colourings!

Is that Headstock the right shape for a 77, might be the way the photo is stretched in imgur but it looks a little small.

They did say one had been shaved as they didn’t like the larger heads! It may be that one

Wow!  The maple fretboard with dot markers jumps off the screen, I like it.
