NCD - A 227bhp Volvo !

What's Hot
RaymondLinRaymondLin Frets: 11912
Volvo C30 T5.

2011 16k miles, full Volvo dealer service history,  Cruise control, auto lights, auto wipers, auto rear view mirror, heated electric wing mirrors, Climate, heated memory seats, all leather interior, Auto Geartronic box, R-Design package.  A real sleeper, don't see too many C30 around, certainly even less T5.

Very nice.  Hope you have plenty of room left on your licence, for the points. ;)

My Volvo V50 is plenty quick enough for now.

I tried a T5 V50 a good few years back and that was pretty good. Not particularly tyre-shreddy either. That looks like fun.

I'm more impressed by the photos to be honest.  Nice paint too, does that have a yellow basecoat?  It reminds me of that bright red Beamer paint.

    Need some decent alloys though.

As I said in the other thread, awesome cars!

I checked and my mum's is a T3, so I can't imagine how quick the T5 is in comparison as the T3 is fucking RAPID.

    Lovely car Raymond.

I've run a 1.6 Drive C30 for the last 6 years and not had a peep out of it, beautifully built cars - not great for lugging guitars and amps around in mind!

I had a D5 V50 R-Design estate until last year, 180bhp, but part exchanged it for a van to make carting my band's gear around that bit easier :-(

    I ran a V70 T5R for a while, in estate format..

What a car that was, silly fast and I could fit all the band gear and a passenger in it!!!

How I didn't kill myself or lose my licence I don't know.

227 bhp in that size car must be mental.

    Happy NCD

  • Happy new car day!

My dad had a T5 for a while. Most frightening car I've ever been in, it looked normal & accelerated like a spaceship!
The police had a them at the time & if he was flying down the motorway folk would move over because they thought he was an unmarked police car.

He sold it because it was TOO fast & it went through tyres almost as fast as it went through petrol!

I've had a Volvo for the last years, reliable as a very reliable thing.
Sadly age has finally got the better of it. So has to go.

Would have another, really good motors.

...sat behind a red one of these (not same spec) and it could only been 3 years ish old and already the tailgate surround area had gone milky red from UV penetration... Don't ever buy Red, or Navy Blue cars cos those pigments are non light fast...

I would be lying if that isn't a concern, as my uncle's old Gold GTi was red.

However, I am not sure if it's because of people's lack of care with them (you should see my car care stuff, Autoglym to Meguiars to Collinite.

Then you also see really old Ferrari with decent paint work (no doubt keeping in the garage helps), but anyway, this car is 5 years old and still looking like new, hopefully it'll look the same in another 5 years before I move it on.
