It it should be fun (and bloody hot by the feel of it!)
The things that I've confirmed so far
1 The audience either don't care or don't notice when you make a blunder.
2. Gear breakdown at the end of the night is a proper chore.
3. It's pretty tiring doing two gigs in two days. How bands manage year long world tours is suddenly put into perspective!
4. Actually getting paid for something you really enjoy is very cool.
5. It's great when your friends come to see you and with a clear amount of surprise they announce they had a great time and we were actually pretty good. I don't think they were expecting that.
Anyway onwards and upwards...
I'm depping for The Press, a band I left (retired from) a while back, so it will be good to see them again.
I'll be using my new Blues Cube Artist 1 x 12 for the first time live. It's an outdoor music event with loads of bands. We're on at about 8pm.

Depping for my old band from a few years back. Should be...interesting. All original songs, half of which I never knew, with a week's notice. Come along if you want to see me make a fool of myself
