Putting delay and reverb before the amp was at Drew's suggestion - I rather like it.

M5 is in one loop of a signal routing flippy floppy box, the ODs and delay (and my amp's preamp section) are in the other, so I can use the M5 either in front of the amp/drives or in the loop depending on what I'm using it for.
Don't talk politics and don't throw stones. Your royal highnesses.
do you use your octaver for octave up or down or both?

I also have a "satellite" board which I add for more ambient stuff which is an Ehx Superego with a Pitch Fork and Zoom MS70CDR in it's loop. I just plug it in between the reverb pedal and amp.

3dB clean boost for a slight lift
6dB clean boost to go from rhythm to lead

Amp (into the clean channel) - nothing in the amp loop. The levels are set so the clean boosts don't overdrive the amp itself.
The GT6 might soon be replaced with a Helix LT where I'd probably set things up in a similar manner

The numbered loops are all in a BOSS ES-8 so can go in any order I want, although generally I keep them in that sequence. I also have an expression pedal which can talk to the pitch shifter through a TRS cable via the ES-8 and to the bods and delays via midi. Plus there's a tuner which isn't in the signal chain but is split out via the ES-8. The V is movable so I can put any pedal in any order either before or after the loop.
