Man ....Its really messing me around lately, takes forever to open, or do any uploading, the pop up Ads will not go away.

I've had loads of trouble with Imgur (Win 10 PC / Chrome) - keeps telling me the certificate is invalid, whatever that means.

I still use it for the pics already on there, and mange to post here without them displaying as spam laden links

I had to use photofuckit the other day as IMGUR was down for maintenance, it's still buggy,hangs, times out just like it did a few years ago when I ditched it, It's a friggin' abortion.

Agreed. Photobucket has been getting steadily worse the last few years. I hated the change in UI and have been using Google Photos for a while now.

In fairness, it's only terrible to view on a mobile if people are lazy when posting.

my PB pics display fine on mobile, you won't see the link

Does anyone know how to get imgurs pictures to display on the mobile site?  I used to have no problems until the last big forum update and now they only imbed properly for me on the full site.  

I can only get links to display now.

Same as with PB.  Right click on the image to get a direct link free from extras.

paste this link into the add image box.


you do need to be on the full version of the FB to see the add image option, but once posted it will display as a pic on desktop and mobile

@WezV while that is true there's currently no way to embed an image if you're posting from an iPhone (I don't have any other type of phone here to test with). I think the same might be true of iPads also. 

For this reason I always post my FS threads on desktop

Photobucket was a complete cunt the last time i used it on the Kindle. 

Whoever-the-fuck came up with the pop-ups needs a kick in the bollocks!

Brilliant I've just been adding the direct link to posts on the mobile site.  I never view the full site anymore. Thanks Wez

I never knew about the Attach image/file thing.  I right click the mouse on the image I want to add to a post.  Right click again at the position I want the image to appear and select Paste.  I have no idea how to attach an image to a post using my iPad or mobile.  As @WezV wrote, I too don't even bother trying to post pics until I  am at a proper computer.

Doh! I only just realised you can download albums from Photobucket, so I've got everything transferred over to Imgur and I'll use that from now on. Cheers for the kick in the pants.
