I'd forgotten Ted! Went to see him at Birmingham Town Hall in 1976 with my then girlfriend, who said at a later date that she nearly packed me in after because it was so awful- I thought he was amazing! We're 36 years married now so maybe she liked him really!!!

I like a bit of the Nuge - his own stuff is good, fun stripped down rock (AC/DC kinda stuff I guess). His other projects a bit less to my taste ( he did a soft rock band and a project with members of Anthrax IIRC). I've seen quite a few things with him on tv and YouTube over the years and he can be an intelligent, thoughtful man and there are some stories of him really going out of his way for fans. But then he has the wild man image so he feels he has to say the wild man things and it's all a bit silly, just take it with a big pinch of salt.

I saw him some time in the 70s. I don't remember much about the gig and only really know I went because I've still got the ticket stub. I was probably out of my tree too, I used to smoke a lot of dope at gigs back then (like everyone else I suppose.) I've got a very vague recollection of him wearing a buckskin fringed jacket and a cowboy hat and playing Stranglehold for hours.

He certainly likes hunting and I think he'd cheerfully call himself a patriot and conservative ( pro Trump, [offensively] critical of Clinton and Obama). He does a far impression of being racist although he would vehemently deny this. As very few people are interested in what he does musically anymore he seems to be left with outrage to get any publicity. It's a bit confused and a bit sad.
