This is the one. A fully overblown, pure laser-like, round yet square sound that you can almost see as well as hear, and it tastes like honey dripping off a razor blade.

Roland said: Scales are primarily a tool for categorising knowledge, not a rule for what can or cannot be played.
Supportact said: [my style is] probably more an accumulation of limitations and bad habits than a 'style'.

I play guitar because I enjoy it rather than because I’m any good at it

Sounds a bit thin on a laptop, but has real balls on decent speakers.  I love that crunch, the power, is the epitomy of rock for me.  The song is shite though, but the guitar tone is one my favourtites.

Been getting into gain-y single coil tones lately - this is probably one of my favourites:

Particular tones I like are the main riff (0:39) and the verse (1:02).

Almost any of Scotty Moore's early stuff with Elvis is wonderfully atmospheric.

Steve Jones on God Save The Queen - huge sound.

Eric Johnson on Cliffs of Dover.

    Hendrix on Manic Depression.
