2 weetabix for breakfast?

What's Hot
siraxemansiraxeman Frets: 1935
Thats not a meal....1 Weetabix = 76cals. 2 = 154cals, plus say 150-200mls of semi skimmed milk on and you're still only adding 94cals (@200mls semi skimmed milk) so that's 248 calories, You can have some of that milk in your tea or coffee as 200mls is way too much on 2 Weetabix anyway. That IS NOT A REAL BREAKFAST. That is a SNACK. 4 or 5 Weetabix is where its at. But porridge is way betterer anyway.

Your English weetabix is flakey and tastes like shit.
Australian 'Weetbix' is far, far superior and doesn't turn to mush when you pour milk on it.

    Weetabix and gravy.

    That's a real man's breakfast. :)

See, no problem here having say 2 Weetabix for a 1st course, ie that's not the whole breakfast...but that alone will not keep my stomach from protesting angrily till late afternoon (when I typically eat lunch) If someone was to have that and say some toast (2 of at least) maybe with a sausage/egg or summat on as well...then that'd be alright. 2 Weetabix is a good breakfast for a toddler or 5-7yr old max. Big strappin' men need more than 250 ish calories to get 'em going.

If you're not having lunch until late afternoon then I suspect that's more of an issue than if weetabix make a decent breakfast.
Perinally I solve the problem by having 1st, 2nd and possibly 3rd breakfast during a morning depending how hobbity and hungry I feel.

  • Weetabix and vindaloo for breakfast will both keep you regular AND give you a colonic on the way out. :)

I'm surprised anyone can even choke down I've shredded wheat.

Thin bagel, grilled bacon and cawfee. That, right there, is breakfast.

Mushier the better. I leave mine standing for a minute or so until the 'bix soak up all the milk then add a good layer of sugar.  Taste sensation!

When I was a kid I had four for breakfast with milk ... when your young and growing calories don't matter if you lead an active life. My parents did have a car so I walked or cycled everywhere and played loads of sport. Calories are only important if you're a couch potato sitting in front of your PC writing crap on forums ... er .. hang on .. ;-)

Exactly - the man is BS from start to finish. Porridge though with raisins and a scoop of protein powder in is really where its at.
