Superman has Lex Luthor, Batman has The Joker, Captain America has The Red Skull but who is your arch-enemy?  Do you need that person to force you to up your game?  When @Drew_TNBD lost his forum nemesis, Lixarto, I believe that he took his foot off the gas a bit.

My dog SirSmellalot has an arch nemesis,a spaniel cross he likes to pounce on and growl at even though he has never behaved like that with another dog. The sour faced woman who walks it is, therefore, pretty much my arch nemesis. 
When I come back from walking the dog MrsTheWeary says 'have you seen your arch nemesis?' What a crazy couple we are...
