So far today I've been stuck on a non-moving train while they decided they lacked a driver, worked in a room full of computers with no AC and then on the DLR with no AC...

Sometimes nice hot weather is a little uncomfortable...

Total of 2 hours of delays to trains today for me (and if I'd not checked online before heading out I'd have taken 8h18m to get home!) so could have been very grumpy in the heat... I'm currently on a air con'd train going to get home after midnight and have a nice cool walk home... Is lovely

Didn't bother me.  Family ate a lovely dinner in the garden.  It's the mosquitoes that come out at sun down that bother me.

I went to the cinema this evening to watch Wonder Woman.  Not specifically to avoid the heat, although I did think the air conditioning would be a bonus.  Two and a half hours... it was bloody freezing.

I'm not complaining. Where I am it's barely 20 these days
The 3 elements of western music are: melody, harmony, and rhythm. In my fingerstyle arrangements, I play them all at once. Check them out here

I hate this heat with a passion, especially full of cold and spending hours in A&E's

It wasn't us who did the heavy lifting. :) We just sat and drank G&Ts.

Not at all. I'm coping well strangely enough for a pale skinned north eastener.

I went for a run at 4:30 this morning, which as far as I'm concerned is the only possible time for it. I saw a group out yesterday evening doing hill repeats. Nuts.

If hot air rises shouldn't there be a heatwave at the North Pole?

(...and if things fall down why isn't the South Pole covered in things?)

More seriously, I've been enjoying the heat but this morning the mixer tap on the shower seems to have developed a fault so I can currently only have a ridiculously hot shower - Grrrrr.
I play guitar because I enjoy it rather than because I’m any good at it

Bunch of wusses. It was 42.5 here yesterday. UK rarely gets above 30. Man up ffs.

I had a nice relaxing run at 6pm in 32 degree heat.
    It was lovely.
Yep, very much this. 25 mile cycle in the heat last night was hard work but bloody lovely.

That was in the days before air-conditioning and central heating.  I believe that most of the snowflakes on here who are bitching about a bit of a sunny spell are probably not used to being outside and/or physical exercise.

    Bring back National Service.

I've ridden to the coast and back today in full motorcycle gear. Felt like being boiled in the bag. Torture.
